While a lot of businesses are closing and laying off workers, it’s full speed ahead at Seeler Industries in Joliet.

The Joliet chemical manufacturer and logistics company has ramped up production by more than 20 percent since February.

Today’s twisted supply chain is forcing companies to place precautionary orders to avoid running out of goods, which only compounds the pressure. Consumers are confronting higher prices and shortages of cars, children’s shoes and exercise gear, as the holiday shopping season looms.

Steve Seeler, CEO of Seeler Industries, was interviewed on Fox News America’s Newsroom October 6, 2021.  This was in reference to supply chain issues across the nation.
